Rose Bowl Rewind
Now that you have all seen the game (I hope), Texan egos couldn't be larger. Having just returned from Austin, everyone is aware that they are now the reigning National Champs in football and baseball, and with last week's thrashing of Memphis in hoops, could become the first team to hold all three at titles at the same time (I'm still not buying into the Runnin' Horns).
Let it also be known that J-Hole predicted the quarterback from Texas Tech (he of the 15-32 performance against Alabama) to be first team Big 12, citing a Fox Sports preseason poll. Hmmm.....Fox making a mistake? Unimaginable...

Well, if Texas teams can't make the play-offs in the pro-fessional leagues, than I guess its up to the am-a-teurs.
Mind you, some day UC San Diego will get a football team and show you a thing or two.

yes frenchie, this is true. on the bright side for you, at least the eagles aren't in the playoffs, so they can't lose anymore this year.
Im afraid that is incorrect, the Eagles lost a charity golf tournament against the Girl Scouts last Sunday. Just been that kind of year!!! And yes I have taken my prozac and have calmed down!! Frenchie

I was pullin' for ya Brettski. And that Vince Young guy sure carried the load.... I wouldn't hold your breath much though on even a Final 4 appearance by your hoop squad let alone a # 1 ranking. Dukes blowout of you guys 3 weeks back put your squad back down in the rankings. The largest margin for a # 1 over a # 2 in history I believe. Coach "K" don't mess around. And his kids actually go to class.......and graduate.
